Meetings
Monthly
meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at the
Brisbane Club, 241 Adelaide St, Brisbane. Discounted car parking
at the Myer Centre is available by arrangement with the Brisbane
Club. The meeting includes a two course dinner and typically
has the following format:
6.00pm Pre dinner drinks.
6.30pm Sit down for dinner.

MC introduces guests and new members.

'Round Robin' discussion of ideas and questions.

Dinner.

Guest speaker or member contributions.
You are welcome to attend one or two meetings as our guest prior
to joining the club. Anyone who is interested in finding out
more about our club may send an email
to obtain more information.
Dinner bookings are required to assist our caterers. Club members
should make a booking by
10:00 a.m. on the Friday prior to the meeting.

| The
club has access to a white board and overhead projector for
'chalk and talk' type of presentations. It also owns a data
projector for use with a laptop. This is is very useful for
displaying charts of shares or funds under discussion, including
a wide variety of technical analysis indicators.

| Club
members make brief or extended presentations on topics of
interest at about half of the meetings. These are usually
topical, less formal and frequently generate spirited discussion.
They are good value. |
