The club currently has about 90 members from all walks of life and age groups. There are roughly equal numbers of men and women. Some of our members are full time investors or have been active investors for a long time, while others are new or relatively new to the investment game.

Some members may be termed fundamental investors, basing their decisions on the financial strength, profitability, and management of the businesses in which they invest. Others use technical analysis, basing their investment decisions on market action. Many members use both approaches.

Members are encouraged to bring guests with an interest in investing along to our meetings.

Subscriptions

There is a yearly subscription of $48, payable in July, or a pro-rata fee of $4 per month for members who join after July.

The 2-course dinner at each meeting currently costs $42.00, including GST.

Anyone who is interested in finding out more about our club is most welcome to attend one or two of our monthly meetings as a guest, before deciding to join the club. You may send an email to obtain more information.

Dinner bookings are required to assist our caterers, so guests and prospective members are asked to contact a committee member to make a booking for them. As our caterers require substantial advance notice, bookings are required by 10.00am on the Friday before our meeting.
